AudioElk Year in Review, and Looking Forward
I know 2022 has been a wild year for many people, me included! I'd like to take a moment to reflect and organize my thoughts and plans for 2023. This year was a good year for AudioElk, all things considered! I completed ~25 commissions (with a couple extending through to next year), released one new sound library, and made good progress on my game audio work! Overall I'm pleased to be getting commissions fairly regularly and that people still keep me in mind for projects! <3 IRL My life has pretty drastically changed for the better. Near the end of October I received a proper job offer for a work from home developer position that I accepted, and I've really been enjoying the job and the people. Most importantly this has (hopefully) been my last working in retail, and I am now making enough money to save up and get my own place! All in all I feel incredible when I reflect on how my new job changed my life these past few months. I'm eating better (with the occasional ...
